BDO and Microsoft Dynamics team up at CMTS 2013

September 24, 2013

TORONTO: BDO and Microsoft Dynamics will team up to introduce manufacturers to the benefits that next-generation ERP software can offer their manufacturing operations. With significant advancement in ERP technology, manufacturers can take advantage of robust applications like Microsoft Dynamics AX that provide true integration with processes in a comprehensive package to meet the needs of their entire global organizations.

BDO and Microsoft Dynamics will co-host ‘Is Your Business Software Keeping Up to Your Business?’ at Canada’s largest manufacturing event. The Canadian Manufacturing and Technology Show (CMTS) will be held at The International Centre on September 30 to October 3, 2013. CMTS provides a venue for manufacturers across Canada to come together under one roof to evaluate new products and solutions and learn about hot topics currently impacting the industry.

In turn, BDO will address selecting ERP software that can keep up to the demands of manufacturing, a hot topic pertaining to manufacturing operations management. As enterprise software solutions take on a more critical role in the success of Canadian manufacturing, the session is expected to be a highlight of the event. It will feature advancements in enterprise software technology and review key manufacturing concerns, such as driving cost reductions and improving profitability, visibility and operational control with a single integrated business solution.

Brian Freeman, a senior business advisor at BDO with over 25 years of professional manufacturing experience, will present the session. He stated: “A successful ERP selection and implementation process can quickly enhance operational processes and improve efficiencies. CMTS is a great venue to reach out to manufacturers to emphasize the importance of not only having a business system in place, but ensuring that it is continually measured against processes to prove its value to the organization”. Brian is also a veteran in ERP selection and implementation and has held critical ERP software roles as a consultant and as an executive for a large industrial manufacturer, providing a unique perspective for attendees.

The ERP software presentation, Is your Business Software keeping up to your Business?, will be held at CMTS on October 2, 2013 at 11:00 am. For registration details, visit www.cmts.ca. BDO will also be featured at booth #9013 in Hall 5 throughout the event.
