This case study outlines BDO’s implementation of Microsoft Dynamics GP2010 for Saint Elizabeth Health Care. Saint Elizabeth Health Care (SEHC) is an innovative not-for-profit charitable organization in Canada founded in 1908. It has pioneered new programs for the people of its communities, leading the evolution of health care by combining caring values and wisdom with unlimited opportunities available through the information age.
The organization needed to better analyze and extract information out from another system called Procura, which offers community care with tools to stay up-todate in the changing health care industry. It uses tools to manage staff schedules and clients with a fully integrated back office, but it was time to integrate billings into Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP software.
As part of the fully integrated ERP solution, BDO built two custom application integrations that enabled users to drill back into source transaction details and have greater visibility on each transaction. SEHC can produce financial reporting in various ways now with the appropriate amount of detail from the ERP system.
